Dunfords – The Past, Present and Future

The Dunfords legacy continues as new owners took over in Septmeber of 2021!

Dunfords of Havelock has a long history. The dealership was originally founded in 1970 by brothers Eric and Larry Dunford. It began simply with the sales of Honda® and Yamaha Motorcycles and not long after came the addition of Ski-Doo. It didn't take long for the dealership to get the reputation of providing excellent service and honest pricing.

As the business gained momentum the small dealership outgrew its shop. Over the years a new showroom was built, technician bays were added, storage capacity was expanded and a 90-acre demo track was introduced as well as adding a second location in Marmora. Now we boast a modern, comprehensive sales, service and storage facility offering an unbeatable selection of ATV's, side by sides, boats, personal watercraft, dirt bikes power equipment, docks and marine products. 

The Honda® franchise started it all, and Dunfords continues to be one of the largest volume Honda® ATV dealerships in the country year after year. It won't be long until we achieve the same success with Yamaha, Suzuki and more new exciting brand partnerships with new owners Craig and Joel Basaraba at the helm. 

All of this was accomplished through the teamwork and tremendous effort of the many employees who have given so much over the years. The continued future success of Dunford's relies on the ambitious, hard-working, friendly employees who strive to satisfy all of our customers' needs.
